A reader has sent me two interesting links after
my blog post yesterday. Evidently "Deadline is reporting that after revisiting his Alien franchise, the director is keen to go back to again to another of his seminal science fiction projects, and has now signed a deal to direct and produce with the previously announced producers Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson. There is still no word on whether this movie will be a sequel or a prequel." You can read more at:

They also have some wicked cool concept art from a game called Adrift, that hopefully can inspire a Blade Runner era version of Paris. Its kinda funny to think that the movie was set in 2019. Now, its based on a book from the late 1960s, so I can see that, but hey... we are only 7 years shy of 2019! Want more neo-Paris? Click the pic below.

Blade Runner is a very good film.
Like all good movies, it's stood the test of time. One can't fairly judge the special effects of older films bc they had to work with...well, what they had, but the special effects in Blade Runner still look great. The story and performances are awesome. I never met anyone who didn't like Blade Runner! If I did, I wouldn't trust them...
And yeah, Sean Young was Hawt...
Thanks for the comment Miss Margo, and yah, BR & Aliens - they both stand the test of time. I was grateful I got to see them both on the big screen when they did the re-release showings. What fun.
After Prometheus, I rather hope that Ridley leaves Blade Runner alone.
