I love this ad campaign and their slogan: "Just the Right Amount of Wrong" reminds me a bit of one of my expressions: "A good and proper mistreatment." ;)
They had another ad with a song that I had to find, "Booty Swing" by Parov Stelar. After seeing these two ads, if I ever go back to Vegas, I'm definitely putting the cosmopolitan casino at the top of the list.
Certainly this looks like the first mainstream ad campaign that is genuinely trying to appeal to kinky folks. At least I think it is.

I have wondered in the past on this blog, about whether or not the lovely lithe Keira might be a bit into kink, and I'm still wondering. Though I think it's more likely that the just understands fetishists, rather than she's really into it. Either way, her most recent film "A Dangerous Method" - which is based on a true story btw, is about a masochistic woman who is a patient and eventually lover of Carl Jung's. DD #44 - Ballet Heels & Corsets
Someone sent along a few photo sets to me from ballet-heels.com to cheer me up, and cheer me up they did. Normally I'm not a big fan of extreme heels - though I'm sure some would say 5" or 6" can be pretty extreme too. Either way, ballet shoes is one of the few fetishes out there that I don't actually have.
However, pretty women in latex, and corsets, and ballet heels, well that works for me! I especially love the corset under the pink dress. There's something about a "hidden" corset that just really gets me going. Oh, don't get me wrong, I love a corset that's shown off proudly, but I do love wondering
that just *maybe* she's got a corset on under there! I also love that big smile in the middle shot, and the bright pink leg warmers with the heels cutout is a great little touch. :)
Sometimes it is just nice to be reminded that modelling isn't all just about angry glares, teasing glances and the oh so lovely, hands on hips - while flashing "blue steel." Though that works damned well most of the time.

Duran Duran - Girl Panic!
Lots of still very yummy supermodels from the late 80s and 90s (and more than a few new models) trapse around in extreme heels, lingerie, leather, corsets and even a quick shot of latex... I think. Either way, it passed the "worth sharing" level. :)

OT : Aussie Floyd
I went and saw this group last night in Miami Beach and it was just what the doctor ordered. I'm a huge Floyd fan, and have seen Gilmour's Floyd 4 times, and Roger Waters solo twice, as well as his new Wall Tour. So, I know my Floyd ;)
The Australian Pink Floyd Show, aka. "TAPFS" was right up there, with a big stage show, props and excellent musicians. The girls who did Great Gig were better than the ones that Gilmour had with him on the Pulse tour (YT link.)
They tour all over the world, and are heading off to Europe again, I highly recommend it to any Floyd fans. Great music, good fun... and I didn't expect to ever hear "Careful with that Axe played live! But for those of you who aren't as well versed in your Floyd, I present a more well known clip too, that not only got a standing O, but choked me up.

American Horror Story
Time for a brief review of the new F/X show: American Horror Story
1) This show is awesome, if you take it with a grain of salt and accept that it's got plenty of silliness going on.
2) I highly recommend that you watch it from the start if you can. Not that it's full of twists, but if you jump in now I think that it would not be nearly as fun w/o the build up. Plus you'll ruin some of the twists for yourself. It's on F/X - I'm sure they'll re-air it if you can't find it on demand or dare to torrent download it. And if you don't know what torrents are, I'm not going to explain it, you can take your own risks and learn to be a haxxor on your own ;)
3) Though the young girl smokes on the show, I don't suggest it from a fetish stand point. She's very much doing the awkward high school girl learning to smoke thing, which makes sense since she is a young girl IRL, and so is her character. Jessica Lange still looks awesome for her years and has a real style to her, but her smoking appearances are not super frequent. I submitted a full review to the smokingsides.com site, if you want more info on that.
4) I'm a jumper and not a screamer.
5) I think the maid is my all time favorite horror character twist. I love love love the whole approach to her character, and if you can't figure out it out from the little animated gif here, well you'll just have to watch the show.
6) I know my wife finds latex guy a bit more creepy than hot "at this point." However Dylan McDermott's 50 year old uber buffness will make you feel flabby no matter how old you are. I have to keep reminding myself that all he has to do for a living is work out and pretend to feel feelings, while I'm here slaving over a hot monitor ;)

That big post that's long overdue
For a few months now I've been wanting (needing?) to make a post clarifying what's going on, or more accurately - what's not going on.
I've been reluctant to make it, for a slew of reasons - but perhaps biggest is that I don't want to hurt my wife, or my friend - Lady Regina. I think I can explain things without causing that, at least I certainly hope so. In short, everything that started a year ago is done. Though my wife has made it clear I still have her permission to play with Lady Regina, I'm not there emotionally. I seek something deeper than what can exist there, so it's unfulfilling. This is not at all because of LR, but it's about me and my emotional state. I have nothing but the utmost respect and appreciation for LR, her skills as a domme, and her thoughtful and special friendship.
There were times in this last year that I felt a bit like Alice down the rabbit hole - and it was thrilling and wonderful. I have experienced things I only had fantasized about, and I'm very grateful for that. However, after going down the rabbit hole, I've changed. That is an important part of what that experience was about, and I was both expecting and seeking that.
This past August, at the ClubFem dinner, though all the attendees were wonderfully welcoming - I felt like a spectator, rather than a part of. Because of the changes in my marriage, it was clear to me that I was not living a FemDom life, I was not in an FLR "Female Led Relationship." And that's really what ClubFem is founded on. I don't know if I want an FLR. I do know that I'm not seeking to become like some of the men in that group. And though I do have great respect for them all, and even a bit of jealousy for a some, I know that's just not where I'm at right now. I am 100% certain that they would accept me as I am there, but I'm not much of a voyeur type. I'm not much of an exhibitionist either (though I will admit to being an attention whore sometimes.) That combo just made me personally feel a part from, rather than a part of at the last dinner. Maybe I'll feel like I belong there someday, but not tomorrow.
All in all, it is truly ok. To be happy, I need to accept things as they are, not "as I would have them be." So, things are in transition, and there's not too much to say about the specifics; plus I've never wanted to get into specifics here anyway. That's never been what it's about. It's not just about wank material, though there's nothing wrong with that sometimes, I just don't want to have it that one dimensional. I consider life to be a journey, some of it's up, some of it's down. But when I focus on it as "destinations," I miss out on the adventure.
With all that said, I definitely do not want this blog to become a negative place either. I know many other kinksters struggle with this. That's the reality. There are things I miss, such as the day to day control of the chastity play. And while I know that we all need places to share our feelings with others, to "process" and evolve, that's not what this blog will become. I have those outlets in my life, and some of you reading this are among them. But this blog, it's going to be a bit simple. I will always strive to keep it sincere - and to share the kinky things I discover, and above all, to have fun.
Because I already know what I want to be when I grow up - happy.
