Here is a little reminder of that ;)

What's the right chastity device?
Of all the questions I get now, this is the most common "What's the right/best chastity device for me?"
And the simple answer is, I don't know. There are just too many variables. If guys include information, it is usually "I'm this big soft, and this big hard" - but the interesting fact is, it doesn't matter how big you are when you're hard - because (at least as far as I know,) no chastity device is designed for you to really be hard in it.
I think the things that really matter are:
Size flacid.
Your budget.
Your experience level with chastity.
How critical is security?
And the single most important how active is your lifestyle?
Why is that so critical? Well, that can create some real challenges. I know of guys in chastity who would answer yes to at least one of these: Are you driving a tractor trailer for 16 hours a day? Do you ride a motorcycle to work? Are you going through metal detectors regularly? Are you a competitive swimmer? Etc.
Eight years ago when I started on my chastity journey, there weren't options for introductory belts like there is today. There was the CB-2000 or the CB-3000. Today, even if you don't count the Chinese knock-offs, there are at least a dozen belts under $300.
And there are fans for all of them. And people who don't like each one of them too. So, there's just no easy answer - and I say as much on my Chastity FAQ.
I'd consider creating some kind of flow chart with yes and now questions, but it still won't even come close to how each person is different.
So, normally I wouldn't post a question along those lines, but this question came at it from a slightly different angle.
You have written a few negative reviews of different chastity devices but is there one you'd recommend? - Sissy Victoria
Thanks for the note, and compliment. As to what I recommend, if you are starting out the CB#### line is fine for learning about it or short term wear. If you are really small the 2000, slightly larger either the 3000 or 6000, significantly larger the curve.
But what device is best beyond that just varies a bunch depending your personal needs. How active your physical lifestyle is, how much money you have to spend, how important security is, are you (or are you willing to) get a piercing, etc.
For myself I'm forever grateful I got a custom "Cage" design from Chastity Heaven. Over there years, I have spent at least a thousand bucks on the various other designs and none of them compare with having a custom belt. I wish I hadn't waited so long, but I'm glad I got the design I did.

Still no comments Ms. Rose
Sadly, it seems I still can't make comments on your "Totally Waisted" blog. I tried Firefox, Chrome, IE and smoke signals, no luck :(But here's another lovely pic of ya, I think this might've been the first picture of you I ever saw. And you were wearing an 18" corset if my foggy memory serves me right.
BTW, I particularly love the chingosam and corset combo, though I wore mine reversed from yours, with the corset under, though if I ever get back down to small enough to fit in it, I'll make it a point to wear the corset over it. Then again, I don't think I ever fit into it w/o a corset on to start with.

Magnolia Rose I miss your inspirational corset updates! And I refuse to lace up myself until they resume! :PAnd your blog, "Totally Waisted" redesign seems have mucked things up a bit and now it is not accepting any new comments.
So I figured I'd try to get your attention with this blog post. There just aren't many women out there who don't look like a squeezed balloon in an 18" corset.
Anyway, that's that... I miss your updates and I hope this little tribute post wakes ya back up! PS. I've been informed that I'm going to have to lace more often til you start posting again instead.
Context
I really wanted to write about context. And how it totally changes a scene. I have wanted to write for over a week, but I just don't know how to say what I want to say. I am also finding now that my dynamic is changed over the last 3 months that just speaking about what's real to me is much trickier than it used to be.
But I'll leave it at the simple fact that a dungeon scene without context is a fraction as interesting to me as one that has context. Frankly it feels just empty. I remember going to a domme here in FL when I was new to it all and she was beautiful and the dungeon was complete and she knew my fetishes and interests and she took me over her knee and hit me hard with a paddle and then paused and asked: "Why are you being punished?"
And I had no idea what to say. I was at a complete loss.
"Because I paid you to spank me?" That would have been true, but it sure didn't sound sexy and fun. "Because I did something wrong," would've seemed more appropriate, but really... I think I do things right most of the time. I try to always comport myself as a true gentleman, and so again, I had no idea what to say.
And then, the rest of the session I was in my head wondering things like: "Is this it? Is this how this has to work?"
Because for me, right from the start, it felt empty.
Now I know lots of you guys are perfectly content with 60 or 120 minutes here and there. Putting your foot in the pool and knowing the water is there. I understand that's probably 99% of what all Pro Domination sessions are about. But I don't get it. Yeah, I get that a lot of us are just fetishists. We act out our "fetish" for kink, or enemas, or smoking, or spanking, or latex... but I don't know that many own that's what is going on.
Sometimes I liked to imagine that I was there just because the domme enjoyed beating me. But the stark reality always hung in the background. Concepts like 'tithing' or pre-paying for an hour a month, when and how decided by the domme - held some appeal. But in reality it just doesn't seem to work.
I donno... is it just that for most of you, it can still be "BDSM" if there only pretend discipline?
FWIW, I don't get strip clubs either. Been out there 3 times. Oh, I get attractive pretty women who are naked (or mostly naked) acting like they're trying to seduce you... Oh I get that... but after the first 10 minutes I'm right back to my head... "Is this it?"
