Years ago, people claimed you couldn't self lace. I almost always self laced. I don't know why some folks think it's so impossible. *shrug* Either way, this woman clearly has dedicated some time and energy to tight-lacing. She's a bit tighter in the waist than I find my personal aesthetic ideal, but she looks quite lovely and is clearly quite comfortable in her corset. She finishes the video off by strutting around in her corset, a cat suit and some ballet heels - on the grass outside no less! Oi.
What I love most about it is that she's having fun. I just love when folks are obviously enjoying their fetish. There is no bigger smile in the world, than a kinkster getting their kink on :)

That was a fun video to watch. She certainly was enjoying herself! My sissy laces his corset and uses kind of a pumping motion to pull it tight. I'm amazed when I watch him but he gets it much tighter than I do when I try to help him. Thanks for sharing the video.

I have enough trouble lacing someone else into one of those. Can't imagine lacing myself up! I remember purchasing a black leather one for Her Majesty at ye old sex shoppe and the tussle we had when she tried it on. The sales girl even helped. What an enjoyable afternoon that was! :-)

HMP: I have seen your kind of fumbling! I remember how excited my ex-sister in law was when I laced her up in a corset once. She was absolutely enthralled. She asked to borrow one for Halloween that year and we loaned it to her happily. She called us up mid-day swearing up a storm, her husband couldn't figure out to how to lace her in at all. I had to come over to save the day. And I must admit, the sadist in me really was tempted to tie it in one hellish knot so she couldn't get loose ;)
As to the spermon, I suspect you get "boots" next ;)

This corset is similar to the ones I designed, made and sold through BR Creations until 2010. I have self laced since 1958, still do. My photo as "Perfect Gentleman" is very famous and has appeared in many fashion & fetish magazines. I can furnish photos of myself self-laced to 19". Also have trained others to waists as small as 15". more?

I've only ever self-laced and I found it really very easy to get the hang of - although admittedly I've never gone in for the degree of tight-lacing she was demonstrating in that video. Which incidentally was a treat to watch, especially with the ballet boots at the end!
Don, glad you enjoyed the video. I don't know if I would've ever called myself a tight lacer or not, though I was able to reduce to 26" for long periods and 25" for short periods at one time - and I'm probably a 32" when fit... but I do know that the more time I spent laced, the easier it was to reduce more and more. She clearly has dedicated time to it, but it's obvious from the minute she starts lacing in, her body is used to being corsetted. That first 6" or so just disappear without any significant effort by her.

I'd like to introduce myself as the woman in the video. My name is Suzanne, I'm 46 years old and I've been corseting my body on and of for the past 20 plus years. It's only recently that I've made concerted reductions and have now a 16" internal measurement in this corset...fully closed it's 15".
I read through the comments and stop upon Fakir. Surely not Fakir? "The" Fakir????

I'm adept at lacing to a certain point, but do require the assistance of the door handles to finalise the tightening process.

Here's a message for Suzanne, Aarkey et all interested in tight lacing. Thanks for posting Suzanne; much appreciated by the Ol' Corsetier. When I was still designing corsets and training others I must admit I didn't have much enthusiasm for waists that couldn't be trained to sub 20" sizes. And I was not very excited by moderate curves either. The more indent the better. Been friends with Will & Ethel Granger (past years) and still in touch with Bob & Cathie Jung. I can continue with personal stories and photos if enough of you want it. Still lacing, Fakir
@Arkeybabble - I have had a look around your site. Too cool. I have a day off today, and I plan to read it from "cover to cover". The link you posted me to was very interesting. I have noticed that the "mans" corset looks very "manly" and doesn't give the curves that most corset wearing men are after. Off the rack corsets made to fit a general woman's figure can work but they are horrid to wear as a woman, so I can only imagine how it would be for the male body.
Oh just wow. Fakir. Seriously a legend in my mind. His spiritual pursuits, the Kavadi, Oh-Kee-Pa suspensions and other body work really caught my eye first, and I actually did my major Art theory essay on him and the history of body modification. I see my corseting as a body modification and I never discount the spiritual journey I undertook when I decided to waist train. Like most disciplines, the fear and the negativity rises fast and most people give up at that stage. Pushing through this barrier to the other side, is where all the good stuff happens... :-D
So obviously to have an acknowledgement from him, is quite thrilling, for both of us. :-D

Cathie is out of this world as far as her measurements are concerned. 39" 15" 39". Incredible silhouette. Absolutely amazing.
I do note I have seen some images of you with your waist at 19" and you look absolutely incredible.
