I'm going "under the knife" today a bit of arthroscopic poking on my left knee. Nothing too dramatic, I have "complex tears of the mediolateral meniscus" - at least that's what the MRI showed. It's been generally livable up until Oct, when it just started swelling up massively at random, and aside from being very unsightly it just was tough to walk. Of course every time I went to see the doc the swelling was down, and even with the MRI date it was feeling as good as ever. Up til last Friday when I went in for the last pre-op visit and the doc did a double take at how swollen it was. I sure hope (and expect) him to be a better artist than whomever did the photoshop job on that pic. ;)
Of course I got a scrip for some good pain killers... too bad I try to use as few as possible and hate pain killers anyway. So if I'm MIA for a couple days, ya'll behave now, ya hear?
