I only wish it were bigger, or there were a whole series of shots. Legend of the... seeking corsets?

Yup, another lovely laced in bunch of lasses on Legend of the Seeker. In episode 5 "Wizard" - a case of amnesia allows the wizard to run rampant and drunk with his own power. And when he falls smitten with the bratty and tightly laced trollop played by Helena Mattsson (yup, I double checked the spelling) - rather than tighten up Ms. Mattsson's corset, he magically puts her into a princess' gown. I thought looked lovely in her golden and black paneled corset, but he switches her into a flowy flowery gown? What a motard. I thought she especially deserved a bit of tugging in as punishment after she spurns his initial advances. Then again, maybe that's just my toppy side talking.

After all, the Wizard doesn't really suffer as Ms. Sascha Moore quickly steps in and distracts him.In a moment of sanity, we don't see him magically unlace her corset, so maybe he's not an evil wizard... just a dumb one.Tragically after he unlaces Helena's corset we've got 50 minutes of blah to watch, and well... I really lost interest. Though I did fast forward through it all, just in case I might miss something.

If you really want something to keep your attention - the site ugliesttattoos.com is like a never ending car accident that I couldn't pull away from. Not just a bunch of "what were they thinking" tats, but also just plain awfully bad "artwork" - not to mention spelling errors. Oi.

Happy holidays to all - yeah, I really do mean all. I hope things are going well on that side of the monitor. Life's good here, but bonkers busy. My sis' family got snowed in up in NYC and their trip here was delayed. Probably just as good, been super busy with work to finish to the year, which is a good thing since it was generally a slower year for my graphics and web designin'

I just wrapped up 3 projects, but I'm only showing ya two since the other one is all vanilla and boring. And really it's more like 1.5 projects, or even 1.2 projects... heck, 1.05 - but it does come out to two web domains.

The first project was a web site update for the lovely Mistress Patti of Orlando, FL. I had the opportunity to give her site a refresh, but keeping it very much in the castle & dungeon theme. I knew by how happy she was about the swinging castle doors setup on the opening page we were good ;)

I also setup OKMunch.com, a site (for now, it's just a page & flyer) for the "Orlando Kink" munch. They will hold it's first ever meeting in SW Orlando on 1/16/10.

Odds are pretty good I'll be heading up to join in the fun - and visiting a few old friends up thataway too. If you are around, join in ;)

The return of Mistress Denna?

It looks like it. The next episode is called "Resurrection" and the single all too tiny promo picture I've seen from it (at right) has the title "Denna Returns" - though I'm not sure if the show is taking a break til 2010. Of the sites with information about it, all but one say it'll air 1/9/10 (the other one says this coming Sat 12/19) Anyway, I figured I would mention it since you guys definitely told me that you wanted a heads up. Though clearly, not everyone out there is as big a fan of Mistress Denna as most of my readers are.

More to come when I find the time about ep. 5 which featured a few lovely laced up minor characters. One who almost looked to be truly tight-laced, though I'm sure when it's up on Hulu I'll be able to give a more definitive opinion.

Chastity Heaven : Cage - review update

I find studying ya'll rather interesting. I had never received as many e-mails about a blog entry as I did about my review of the Cage device by ChastityHeaven.com. And then, when I specifically try to encourage ya'll to post on the blog rather than send e-mails, I got no replies.

You are pretty weird.

Though you probably already know that if you are here. And I don't mean weird in a bad way, actually most of the time I think we can all relate. Which is probably what brings you here in the first place. But I do still think most of you folks are weird and I wanted to make it clear that I figured you all out :P

Now that we've gotten that out of the way, I can update you on the chastity belt. And of course while working on this I just got my first comment on the thread where I mentioned above that no one had made comments! Well thanks HMP! Ok, about the belt. I'm going to try to answer all the various questions that came in and try to keep it coherent (why start now?)

I sent it to be modified shortly after Thanksgiving. I had planned on sending it sooner, because I knew I wasn't going to be instructed to wear it through the holiday week (as we had in-laws visiting) but frankly life was very hectic and I didn't get around to it. Fortunately the CH folks were super fast with the turn around and I got it back in the mail in just a few days, which really impresses the heck out of me btw. Most companies are fast when they haven't been paid yet, but slow after they have. Not CH, so kudos to the designer.

Anyway, the modifications were to move the two vertical bars to the outside instead of on the inside. This turned out to be a pretty big deal, and in the end the CH folks had to make me a new cage entirely, since they couldn't make the interior bars longer (durrr.) Obviously this scale of modification is outside the norm, so plan before your order if you want the bars like mine. The reason for the change was that with the original design, the tip of my urethra was "catching" on the bar and getting irritated. I was correct about the improvement in this issue btw, though the modification served only to changed the issue, in part of that things don't always go as planned. What's happening now (and I think it's not as big an issue now) is that when I finish going to the bathroom and adjust everything, the tip actually extends past the cage. And when I quickly pull up my underpants it, well... basically sandpapers the tip of my penis. And *THAT* is a stinger. So, I'm pulling up my underwear more carefully.

And yes, I usually sit when I pee. The mod has made it spray free, but as I work from home, I don't need to push my luck to shave 20 seconds off my bathroom time. It's simply more important to take my time and set everything up.

As you might've noted above, I talk about how I was "catching" on the cage. And although the folks at CH say that you don't need lube to wear the device, I definitely prefer it. I don't wear nearly as much as I did with the CB-3000 designs, but I still use it. It might just be my personal body oils, or the fact that I live in sunny South Florida - we're setting record heat still... sorry ya'll are cold. We're supposed to hit 87 today. It is December, right?

At least it's not like the skin rash that I would get sometimes in the CB-XXXX line. Fortunately (depending on your perception) by using a special cream and/or condoms my wife didn't seem to mind my rash all that much.

On to cleaning - I thought I'd mentioned that in the original review, but as I've gotten a couple questions about it, I figured I'd make it clear. The new device is super easy. Plus, the device is stainless steel, so it's not going to rust - so simply washing it out in a shower is a non-issue.

I do think it's a bit risque though, and I suspect that if denied long enough that I could get myself off to an "unsatisfactory" orgasm. I've had a few inquiries about this, and if that's a major concern, I'd recommend a less open style than the Cage. Not to get all TMI, but I'm not generally very easy to get off - so that has never been an issue. I've read about guys in absolutely every device (except the Kali) as being able to get an orgasm at some point. I do however think that since it's such an open device that it's a bit extra easy. I might actually try at some point as an experiment. It is what it is - which was rated the #2 most annoying expression according to my wife.

The weight of the device is still a non-issue for me, though I have found that (just as with all the devices I've owned) I prefer wearing briefs is easier than boxers (or boxer/briefs) - since things adjust less and the profile is smaller.

Pullout would probably be the same level of issue in this as it is with the CB-XXXX line of belts. The folks at Chastity Heaven have recently come up with a modification for additional security which uses an additional pin through the top of the device. For more info, click here. They say it works pretty well, but for me the double lock setup with my frenum piercing already works perfectly. And it sure is intense knowing that I really can't get out without definitely being caught.

*ooof, that makes things tight just typing it*

One other question I'm getting is "which device would be most like the _____" and well, I just don't know. Since they're all custom sized that part of comparison is moot. Beyond that I suspect it's just a personal preference. I do know that the CH folks are open to customizations, so if you have any questions about it - contact them.

And yes, the pin & base ring system they made for me is a custom modification. I'm not sure what they'd charge, I got a special deal for helping with their web site. Either way it works great, and won't break like the crappy pins that come with the Birdlock (which one reader said he's gone through a dozen of them already and now replacement pins are on back order!)

And lastly, the locks that I'm using are regular "mini-fusion" style locks by Master lock. I got mine at Target, but I'm sure you can get them at Amazon, or directly through Master Lock - though they're actually a bit more expensive there. I bought mine a few years ago, it seems now that they are mostly TSA compatible, which makes them a little bit larger.) They come in lots of colors, even pink ;)

Told ya so, told ya so...

I told ya that Bridget Regan in Legend of the Seeker was wearing a corset. And even though I only got a glimpse I was also correct that it was dark - probably not black, but more like olive green and leather. And now that the episode (S.2 Ep.4 "Touched") is online, I have screen shots to prove it!

It seems I picked up an annoying virus on my PC. And I think I got it from a potential client's website.

And what's cute is it snuck past my A/V software. And what's cuter is that it then uploaded itself to half of my client websites. And then Google went and red flagged & shut down 4 of them (IE still went their fine, but Firefox blocked it b/c of Google's warning.)

I was able to remove it from all the sites out there (and thankfully I found the other ones and cleaned them before google blocked them.) But dealing with that is not how I intended to spent the last two work days. Lots of new passwords... Meh. Frickin script kiddy punks. :-/

Just the facts.

Ok, it's hardly just the facts. In fact, it's most just my opinions, but hey... sue me. No, not really. You can't bleed a stone anyway.

So, onto the story. The Victoria's Secret show was last night, and it turns out that all the corset pictures I posted last week were all that we got to see. No surprise corsets. And no behind the scene lacing up either. Meh.

I have to admit, I find the models kinda annoying looking too. Yah, maybe I'm getting old, but they look more and more like children to me all the time. No, not all of them, but the new ones do. And maybe they are kids, it seems like every time a new model shows up she's 14 or so. And I really think we've taken the silicone and push up thing a bit too far. These women are almost all stick thin with just WHAM boobs. And well, they don't look human anymore. Believe it or not, but the thing I thought was most beautiful about Marisa Miller is her eyes. Oh how I love dark dark eyes. I credit Wayne Gretsky's wife, Ms. Janet Jones, for my love of dark eyes like that. Anyway, I think Marissa's boobs just look silly up in her face like that. It's just too much. I don't mind the corset though ;)

Hey, call me a snob. Just try and revoke my "man card" - I dare ya! And don't get me wrong, I don't have issues with padded bras, and I definitely like lingerie in general. It's just that I'm just finding most of the VS models to be going so far from what real women look like that they are getting less and less attractive to me. In other news, after watching season 2, episode 4 - I'm convinced of two things about the Legend of the Seeker show. First, Briget Regan is definitely wearing a corset. Second, the two different styles of Dominatrixes are definitely and intentionally that.

In this week's episode, which won't air on Hulu til next weekend (and I'm spoiling the plot for ya by telling you this...) they go out to find the only other "confessor" in the world. Now, for those who are out of the loop, the confessors are the white robe wearing "good" Dommes. The Mord'Sith are the black & maroon leather wearing "bad" Dommes. The Mord beat you into submission, the Confessors use magic so that you love them. Either way - they're all damned hot.

So, they find this young girl who doesn't know what she is and she confesses a guy who then becomes her slave. Ok, innocent mistake, right? Now he's worshiping her around doing whatever she commands. She confesses a few more and makes basically a gang of slaves. And then, in a totally selfish move she confesses the big hero of the show. Now here's what clinched it for me that: 1) the confessors aren't automatically all that good, and 2) that it's intentionally got a D/s flavor. The first thing the hero says after being confessed is "Mistress, how can I serve you?" That's the first time I remember one of the confessors being called Mistress too - The Mord's get that honorific all the time. Though I must confess, I don't pay close attention to the dialog.

But here's the kicker, the young confessor orders the hero to sleep with the other confessor. And that's when we get to see the corset. It's a leather corset with shoulder straps to it. I've seen it before, but I'm not 100% sure if this is it. Anyway, even though they never give us a solid shot of it, so I'm not sure if they're shoulder straps or off the shoulders (she adjusted it during the scene...) and even without the classic "ah-ha" from behind with the laces shot, I'm definitely sure it's a real corset. I'm not sure if it's a black leather or it might even be a really dark olive green, but well, it's yummy on her.

So, I personally don't care how a woman gets to the top spot. Maybe she's just more powerful than you are, maybe she seduces you, maybe she uses some trickery. As long as she enjoys being in charge, well it's all good. Heck, I'm starting to like the idea with a good domme, bad domme variation of the police interrogation thing. *dreamy sigh*
