Definitely similar to Beth's voice, though I thought the style and tone was more similar than the actual voice. It's always interesting how singers are so totally unique, isn't it?
One other interest point, this was the first band other than Portishead that I saw specifically described as "trip hop."
Hopefully they'll pickup where Portishead left off, I thought they were the most powerful group of the 90s - and was sad to see that their last album "Third" was so terribly poorly executed.
They released this album in 2006, I'll definitely be investigating more as I get some time. Their website is here http://www.bittersweetmusic.com/.
