Interestingly enough, in spite of it not working for me at all, am quite impressed with the device. The issue for me is simply that the base ring of it is too wide, and too small. I had read that the consensus was that for men who had "size" issues with the CB#### style that the birdlock wouldn't fix it, however I considered my size issue with the those were generally minimal.
Ya know... I never thought that I'd write so specifically about something like this... anyway, the various base ring sizes of the CB#### allowed significantly more room than the base of the birdlock. Yes, the silicon does stretch, however it wants to be about the same general diameter of the medium sized ring - though it's a
slightly and better shape than the almost perfectly circular CB base. Looking at the comparison image I suspect you can see exactly where the issue is - and yes Tom, I was wearing it correctly ;)The base is not only smaller, but over 3x as wide. And that makes the smaller size a really more dramatic issue. Hopefully the designers birdlocked.com will continue to release more variations to the design. I definitely think there is real potential here - but there are real opportunities for improvements too.
Anyway, I think *CAW* is the perfect title. Especially if you've ever seen Harvey Birdman - the best cartoon ever.

that seemed a bit stiff.
*cough*
Umm... interesting choice of words for reviewing a chastity device.
It'll be a few weeks before I get my own thoughts together on this. Again, I like it... but...
Hehe... yah, that was leading with the chin wasn't it? :P
And I'm glad that you've been able to wear it at least, I'm sure you review will be infinitely more complete than mine, since the experience of wearing something for an hour, compared to a few days or a few weeks, is dramatically different.
Regardless of the fact that it didn't work for me, I'm really encouraged to see such a positive step with making male chastity a more manageable experience for the mainstream.
Though it sure doesn't look as intense and kinky as the full metal belts that started showing up in the late 80s and early 90s. :)
Caw!!! Harvey Birdman, Attorney-at-Law!! Dude, you totally made my year!! Hilarious!
"Someone needs a will! Quick, to the BirdMobile!!"
I'm choking myself laughing!!
Thanks!!
The circumference/width comparision is striking. I had been toying with telling "She-Who-Visits" about the Birdlock, as she's fond of device driven chastity. There's a chance we will get to spend a little time together in May. I don't think it will work. I have enough trouble with the various CBs.
Quick, to the BirdCave!
I think that fact they the devices aren't as intense ( or as expensive) is what helps push them into the mainstream.
Chatted with Mrs. Edge this morning about it. She likes it... but... the 3k has some advantages in her opinion. We may end up just switching around depending on the mood.
Advo: Harvey Birdman has made me laugh to tears a few times. Then again, with someone like Colbert involved in it, I'm not surprised that it's as consistently good as it is. I definitely recommend setting up your DVR to record some - it's usually on at like 1AM on Saturday or Sunday night. The "Black Watch Plaid" is a personal fave ;)

I definitely agree Tom. Having devices in the $150 - $200 range is much more approachable for most folks then something in the $500 - $1500 range.
Especially when you consider that you can't be sure how it'll fit, and if your partner will be interested in actually becoming your keyholder.
As to the differences in the devices, I can see the value in switching - it's the same idea, but a different flavor. On occasion, I still like wearing my love 2 lock device from a few years ago - it's too tight for wearing it for any duration, but for small periods it's quite intense. The points of intrigue... I like, not so much.
